Jezebel Attacked by Dogs Artist: Unknown; Date(s): circa 1700 - 1800; Classification(s): tin-glazed earthenware, tile, tin-glazing, earthenware, tin-glazed greyish-white on the upper surface and painted in manganese; Acquisition: bequeathed by Glaisher, J.W.L., Dr, 1928 [C.2823.18-1928] Description: Earthenware, tin-glazed greyish-white on the upper surface and painted in manganese. Within a circular medallion, framed by two concentric lines, 'Jezebel Attacked by Dogs'; barred ox-head corners. There is a hole in the top left and lower right corner.
