English: From left, Capt. Martin Nosenchuk, native of Byram, N.J., Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Maj. Jason Nagy, also with HHB, Capt. Kevin Harris, native of Orlando, Fla., a logistics officer in charge also with HHB, and Spc. Stacy Koff, native of Elk Grove, Calif., medical logistics specialist for the 583rd Medical Company, 61st Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 1st Medical Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, attend a Hanukkah service via video teleconference, held by Capt. Menachem Stern, chaplain for the 92nd Military Police Battalion, out of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. The VTC of Stern’s Hanukkah service allowed Soldiers of the Jewish faith who are part of Joint Forces Command – United Assistance, stationed at Barclay Training Center, Monrovia, Liberia, to celebrate one of the biggest holidays of Judaism while deployed. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
