עברית: מאיר אריאל, צנחן גדוד 28 בחטיבה 55 , שנלחם בירושלים כתב את שיר כתגובה ל- "ירושלים של זהב".
אריאל תאר את הלחימה ("הגדוד רגום, פרץ קדימה/ דם ועשן כולו / ובאו אמא אחר אמא / בקהל השכולות"). הוא זכר את המחיר ששילמו 182 חיילים, כל אחד יחיד ומיוחד, אשר נקברו בקברה זמנית בהר הרצל בעיר המערבית. מיני האלבום "ירושלים של ברזל" כלל גם את "שיר אהבה לאזרחים". השיר תאר את שעות טרם-הלחימה שבהם שהו הצנחנים בבית הכרם. מפגש לבבי זה הונצח באנדרטה בחצר בית הספר "יפה נוף" אשר בשכונה. ירושלים של ברזל מידות 105/55 חומרים: מדי ב', טול, תחבושת גאזה, בובות דאגה, כפתורים, חרוזי אותיות, חרוזי עופרת. |
