Summary
[edit]DescriptionJeffrey Lewis Indietracks 2011.jpg |
English: Three acts left, and the first was Jeffrey Lewis in the shed. I'd been a bit worried in case his quiet, wordy songs might get a bit lost in the booming and always slightly problematic sound in the shed, but it turned out not to be a problem: Jeff's headed into something rather more like classic rock territory since I last saw him, and it works a treat. Herman Dune join on guest musician duties for several songs too, which with hindsight was a bit of a portent for their own set later on. A really enjoyable set, even though it contained none of Jeff's earlier well-known songs – you know, the ones about acid and oral sex. |
