English: This was definitely one of the most notables sights we came across on our tour round the track, this big mark on the backstretch inside wall created by Jeff Gordon when he crashed hard during the 2008 UAW-Dodge 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup series race the previous month, when he and Matt Kenseth made contact coming out of turn 2 on a late race restart, Jeff spun to avoid Kenseth and ended up striking the inside wall head-on, destroying his race car. |
