[edit]Frau Jeanette Schwerin, the well-known champion of female workers, who has just died in Berlin, was a Jewess. She was the daughter of Dr. Abarbanel, who helped to organize the workmen in 1848. Frau Schwerin was only in the forties at the time of her death.
