Description

Jargeau - Eglise St Etienne.

La chaire hexagonale suspendue en fer forgé et tôle repoussée. Style rocaille.L'oeuvre est signée du ferronnier Perdoux et date de 1755.

Elle porte l'inscription: « Fait par les soins de Messire I.F. Dubourg, chanoine curé, I. Juteau, P. Tondu Gaziers, P. Perdoux m'a fait ».

Elle est dotée d'un escalier tournant avec portillon. Les marches, le dorsal et l’abat-voix sont en bois.

La chaire est classée monument historique depuis le 16 mai 1911, elle a été restaurée entre 1951 et 1972.


Jargeau - Church St Etienne.

The hexagonal pulpit hanging, wrought iron and sheet rejected. Rococo style. The piece is signed by the ironworker Perdoux and date of 1755.

It bears the inscription: "Made through the efforts of Sir IF Dubourg, canon pastor I. Juteau, P. Gaziers Tondu, P. Perdoux made ​​me. "

It has a spiral staircase with gate. Steps, the back and soundboard are wooden.

The pulpit is a listed monument since May 16, 1911, it was restored between 1951 and 1972.
