Description
Español: La Parroquia o Iglesia del ex Convento de San Juan Bautista es un monumento nacional más que alberga Coyoacán, y es uno de los tres templos más antiguos de la Ciudad de México.

Su construcción inició en el año de 1527, bajo las órdenes religiosas de los Franciscanos y Dominicos. Entonces contaba con un gran atrio, una amplia capilla abierta o capilla para indios, cuatro capillas posas ubicadas en las esquinas del espacio atrial utilizadas para posar al Santísimo Sacramento en las procesiones, una cruz atrial, un claustro y la parroquia con tres arcos para el acceso a ella.

En esta imagen podemos apreciar el jardín ubicado dentro de la iglesia, en el celebran ferias de comida y eventos para apoyar a la comunidad.
