Graveyard by the temple in Yotsuya, Shinjuku, Tokyo

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Usually graveyards belong to Buddhist temples and are located by the temple.

In Japan, funerals are almost always held in Buddhist style, although most people have no religions. It is more like a custom, a tradition.

It is interesting to see how each culture handles death, the final stage of earth life, and departure toward a new journey.
