| Description |
English: Japanese Knotweed Removal Dorchester South Station. Just a few days after Network Rail had been informed of the presence of Japanese Knotweed on this station (see 910456) it had been removed by contractors leaving this large empty patch in the flower beds. Unfortunately it had just been cut down mechanically leaving the rhizomes which will sprout again with new regrowth.
The weed needs to be killed with systemic weedkiller in several applications with careful monitoring of the rhizome growth. |
