English: Picture of the Japanese cruiser Yakumo, 1904.

"Dimensions - Length 443 feet, beam 53.9, draft 22 feet.

Armament - Two 8.4-inch guns, eight 6-inch guns, 20 3-inch rapid-fire guns, seven 3-pounders; five torpedo tubes, two submerged and three above water line.

Armor (Krupp) - An 8-inch belt amidships, 4-inch fore and aft on sides. Two-inch protective deck. Redoubts 3-inch. Eight-inch gun turrets protected with seven inches.

Speed - Twenty-one knots, produced by 17,000-horse power engines. Maximum coal capacity, 1,100 tons."
