Is this the center of Rusutsu as seen from the "Yotei Panorama Terrace" at Rusutsu Resort? Rusutsu was the site of the first Japanese Hang Gliding Championships in 1976.

English: photographs taken during our trip, April 1985, by Trans-Siberia Express from Hoek van Holland with a stopover in Moskou, to Nachodka at the easternmost border of the then USSR. By ship to Japan, by underground to our first stay in a temple in the vicinity of Tokyo.
