Description
English: Jan Stanisław Jankowski,Between 1921 and the May coup d'etat of 1926 he was three times the minister of labour and social policies in the government of Poland. During WW II since 1943 Government Delegate for Poland (in underground in occupied by Nazi-Germany Poland) under the formal rank of the deputy Prime Minister of Poland. Arrested by Soviet NKVD 1945, sentenced in a show trial in Moscow to eight years in prison. He died there, probably murdered (shortly before an end of his sentence).
