Čeština: Album representantů všech oborů veřejného života československého - 1927 - Jan Křižan (* 17. května 1882 Hodslavice na Moravě – 4. února 1941) byl průmyslník z Valašského Meziříčí. Vystudoval Českou obchodní akademii v Brně. V roce 1910 si zřídil samostatný obchod se dřevem v Krásně nad Bečvou a v roce 1913 postavil v Krásně nad Bečvou parní pilu. Podnik na zpracování dřeva odstupem doby rozšířil tak, že patřil v roce 1927 k největším závodům svého druhu v Československu. Byl význačným sokolským pracovníkem a horlivým propagátorem výstavby Pamětní školy Františka Palackého v Hodslavicích. O výstavbu této školy se zásadním způsobem finančně zasloužil.
English: Album of Representatives of All Branches of Czechoslovak Public Life - 1927 - Jan Křižan (* 17 May 1882 Hodslavice na Moravě - 4 February 1941) was an industrialist from Wallachian Meziříčí. He graduated from the Czech Business Academy in Brno. In 1910 he established an independent timber shop in Krásno nad Bečvou and in 1913 he built a steam sawmill in Krásno nad Bečvou. He expanded the wood processing business over time so that in 1927 it was one of the largest plants of its kind in Czechoslovakia. He was a prominent Sokol worker and a keen promoter of the construction of the František Palacký Memorial School in Hodslavice. He contributed financially to the construction of this school.
