Description
Čeština: Jan Hiller (* 15. 5. 1878 Litomyšl – 25. 2. 1927 Praha). Povoláním učitel, vykonával funkci ředitele gymnázia v pražské Křemencově ulici. Referentem ministerstva školství a národní obrany byl v letech 1919 až 1923. Od roku 1921 byl vzdělavatelem v předsednictvu Československé obce sokolské. Byl též redaktorem Věstníku sokolského a Sokolské hlídky, která vycházela v Lidových novinách.
English: Jan Hiller (* 15 May 1878 Litomyšl - 25 February 1927 Prague). A teacher by profession, he served as director of the grammar school in Prague's Křemencova Street. From 1919 to 1923, he was a clerk at the Ministry of Education and National Defence. From 1921, he was a member (function of Educator) of the board of the Czechoslovak Sokol Society. He was also the editor of the Sokol Bulletin and the Sokol Patrol, which was published in Lidové noviny.
