Bahasa Indonesia: Jamur jangkos, begitulah penduduk lokal menyebutnya, jangkos merupakan singkatan dari janjang kosong, merupakan bagian dari kelapa sawit yaitu tandannya yang telah diambil buah sawit nya. Jangkos acapkali diletakkan kembali di areal perkebunan yang bertujuan untuk mengembalikan bahan organik yang telah diambil selama masa pertumbuhan tanaman sawit. Seringkali jangkos ini menjadi tempat tumbuh sejenis jamur yang masih satu genus dengan jamur merang (Volvariela volvaceae).Penduduk setempat seringkali berburu jamur ini untuk digunakan sebagai bahan makanan, menurut mereka jamur ini sangat lezat untuk ditumis, digoreng krispi, ataupun digunakan sebagai lauk pendamping mi instan. Jamur jangkos yang enak adalah jamur dengan badan buah yang belum mekar /masih menguncup. Jamur yang sudah mekar, kebanyakan rasa enaknya sudah berkurang. Beberapa penduduk juga memanfaatkan jamur ini untuk tambahan penghasilan dengan cara dijual di pasar, harga per kilo nya cukup murah, berkisar 10.000 rupiah saja. |
