English: Sgt. James M. Holt launches a Remote Controlled Miniature Aerial Target at live firing range in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Queensland, Australia, on May 8, 2001. During Exercise Tandem Thrust 2001 the aerial target will be fired on by MP3 Anti Aircraft 50 caliber machine guns. Holt is participating in Tandem Thrust which is a combined military training exercise involving more than 18,000 U.S., Australian, and Canadian personnel who are training in crisis action planning and execution of contingency response operations. |
