Italiano: "Il dipinto è stato attribuito a Jacob Ferdinand Voet e datato intorno al 1670-1675 da Didier Bodart nel catalogo sulla pittura fiamminga del 1977. Qui la gentildonna ritratta, acconciata secondo la moda del tempo all'inglese, è identificata con Olimpia Mancini sposa di Eugenio di Savoia Carignano. Fa pendant con un altro ritratto più noto di Diane de Thianges duchessa di Mazzarino anch'esso autografo del Voet. L'attribuzione è confermata recentemente anche da Francesco Petrucci ma lo studioso non è d'accordo con l'identificazione e lo definisce ritratto di dama ignota"
