Description
English: Partially disassembled 2nd generation Jaguar independent rear suspension unit. Removed from a 1991 XJ40 for servicing. The road springs and dampers are still attached to the vehicle. Note the substantial lower transverse link, with widely-spaced pivot points at the inner end that allow the radius arms of the 1st generation IRS to be omitted.
