Jaeger Machine Company building photograph |
|||||||||||||||||
Description |
A view of the building that once housed the offices for the Jaeger Machine Company. The company started in 1910 on West Rich Street near the Scioto River, but after damage from the 1913 flood led to the original factory being condemned, the company moved its business west of the Ohio Penitentiary, between West Spring Street and Dublin Road. Once the nation's leading manufacturer of concrete mixers, the company eventually slipped into involvency and bancruptcy before being liquidated in 1988. |
