Polski: Obrazy prezentowane na wystawie podejmują temat klisz językowych obecnych w debacie publicznej w Polsce XXI wieku oraz kryjących się za nimi ideologii. Sawicka używa słów o silnym emocjonalnym zabarwieniu – płakali, krzyczeli, zginęli. Czasowniki są w czasie przeszłym, nie wiadomo jednak czy odnoszą się do historii czy aktualnych wydarzeń. Stawia tym samym pytanie o przenikanie zwrotów charakterystycznych dla narracji o przeszłości do języka aktualnej debaty i zasadność tworzonych w ten sposób analogii. Sawicka uprawia sztukę na bazie językowych resztek, sloganów z politycznych transparentów, nagłówków z tabloidów, wiadomości telewizyjnych. Jest malarką konkretnych czasów, czujnie dokumentującą polityczny spór polaryzujący współczesną Polskę. Pokazuje światopoglądowe niekonsekwencje, tropi niespójne tożsamości uczestników sporu. |
