English: A Lithuanian MI-8 military utility helicopter lands aboard USS Mount Whitney during deck landing qualification training as part of exercise Jackal Stone 2010. JS10 is a 10-day special operations exercise intended to promote cooperation and interoperability between participating forces from Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, and the United States while sharing training concepts, techniques and procedures. Mount Whitney is the U.S. 6th Fleet flagship homeported in Gaeta, Italy, and operates with a hybrid crew of U.S. sailors and Military Sealift Command civil service mariners.
