English: JUDr. František Slavíček (* 1890 - 1942) was the director of the General Sickness Insurance Company in Prague during the Protectorate. He provided the necessary documents to the members of the resistance. He provided false documents to a number of resistance fighters and some paratroopers who were preparing the assassination of the deputy Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich. Slavíček was a “supplier” of blank work books (so-called “Arbeitsbuch”) intended primarily for people moving illegally. In addition, he distributed "food stamps" for these resistance fighters, and mainly he supplied the food itself: meat, chickens, hens, and flour which he purchased from the rural peasants and butchers outside Prague. |
