?^^^^>- Society We, the cIess of 1918, began our first year athigh school as every class has, and I do not doubtas every class will—timid, awe-stricken, anxious,hopeful, but most of all just plain scared. As timepassed, however, with the development of the treeof knowledge, our class took firm root in the school,and even began to branch out. One of our firstnoticeable sprouts was on the branch of social ac-tivity, but we were merely getting things into work-ing order, we did not really bud forth until ourSophomore year. With the opening of our Sophomore year, we laidaway the things of childhood, and with growingconfidence, our wide-awake Sophomore boys de-cided to have a bob-ride.
