Description
English: Sgt. Jarrad Payton, right, native of Richmond Hill, Ga., team leader for the 615th Engineer Company, and Sgt. Wesley Sneed, left, native of Beckley, W.Va., heavy equipment operator, 615th Engineer Company, help ground guide Spc. Paul Salgado, native of Los Angeles, heavy equipment specialist, also for the 615th Engineer Company, while he operates a roller to smooth the road outside Camp Buchanan, Liberia, Jan. 24, 2015. Joint Forces Command – United Assistance engineers and heavy equipment operators began working on smoothing the dirt road leading to Camp Buchanan, so that vehicles and heavy equipment can be transported to and from the camp during redeployment. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
