Description
English: MEMBAKUT AREA, BORNEO. 1945-08-07. A JEEP TRAIN MOVING SLOWLY OVER THE MEMBAKUT BRIDGE WHICH IS BEING REPAIRED BY MEMBERS OF 2/16TH FIELD COMPANY, ROYAL AUSTRALIAN ENGINEERS. THE CENTRE SECTION OF THE BRIDGE WHICH HAS BEEN BLOWN AWAY BY BOMBING HAS BEEN SPANNED BY GIRDERS TO CARRY THE RAILWAY LINE.
