Description
English: Brennan Phillips, an explosives enforcement officer with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, gets familiar with a newly developed unmanned aerial vehicle device Aug. 25 at Leschi Town, the premier training mock village on Joint Base Lewis McChord, Wash., during a live-fire Explosive Ordnance Disposal exercise on JBLM Aug. 24-26, called Ravens Challenge, that brought together military and civilian bomb techs from across Washington State and even agencies from Portland, Ore., and British Columbia, Canada. The event also welcomed scientists from the Albuquerque, N.M.,-based Sandia National Laboratories and a variety of companies across the country promoting new technology that supports the EOD community.
