English: Supplement page added in December 1944 to J.A.N. No. 1 UNIFORMS AND INSIGNIA, a publication prepared by the Military Intelligence Service and the Division of Naval Intelligence of the US War Departement as a recognition field manual for the American fighting forces during World War II:
vy. Officers of the Royal Navy, Royal Naval Reserve and Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve are differentiated only by the form of their rank stripes. Corps Officers, as opposed to Line Officers, are distinguished by Corps colors which appear between the rank. stripes on sleeves and shoulder boards.
