Description
Deutsch: Vom Johannisplatz in der Abendsonne, der Museumskomplex wurde von 1925 bis 1929 für das Völkerkunde-, Kunstgewerbe- und Musikinstrumentenmuseum gebaut.
Das Kreuz wurde zum Gedenken an die Johanniskirche aufgestellt, die nach einem Bombentreffer am 4. Dezember 1943 ausbrannte. Der Turm, der den Angriff überstand und 1956 saniert worden war, wurde 1963 doch noch abgebrochen.
