| Description |
Deutsch: Typ 55I, gebaut 1911 von der Waggonfabrik Weimar. Die Wagen wurden von der LESt zusammen mit den Triebwagen des Typs 16 und mit praktisch identischem Wagenkasten beschafft. Zur Bauzeit stellten andere Betriebe bereits Wagen mit geschlossenen Plattformen in Dienst. Dafür wurden die Wagen der Typen 16 und 55I erstmals mit Quersitzen in Abteilform ausgerüstet. Die Plattformböden liegen bei Trieb- und Beiwagen in gleicher Höhe, wegen des Laufgestells mit den Fahrmotoren liegt jedoch der eigentliche Wagenkasten beim Triebwagen etwas höher, dadurch entsteht eine Stufe zwischen Plattform und Innenraum. Beim Beiwagen ist der Boden nahezu eben. 1932 wurde der Wagen, nachdem er die Nummern 305, 75, 60II und wieder 305 getragen hatte, in den Typ 55II umgebaut und 1965 verkauft. Er wurde in den Achtzigern zurückgeholt und im angenäherten Lieferzustand, aber mit Druckluftbremse, wiederaufgebaut. |
