Deutsch: Typ 61 von 1928, ein zweiachsiger Mitteleinstiegbeiwagen im Lieferzustand. Die Wagen dieses Typs waren die ersten echten Serienwagen mit Niederflureinstieg und zusätzlich die ersten in Stahlbauweise. Der ursprünglich vorgesehene Fahrgastfluss, der an den Türen auch angeschrieben ist, bewährte sich in dieser Form nicht. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg wurden unter anderen die seitlichen Schürzen so zurückgeschnitten, dass die Radsätze sichtbar wurden. Der Achsstand liegt bei 3600 mm, damit ist der der längste, der bei Leipziger Straßenbahnwagen vorkommt. Die Wagen erhielten in den Sechzigern die volle OS-Ausrüstung mit Kleinspannunsanlage, sie wurden jedoch bis 1975 ausgemustert, weil aus konstruktiven Gründen keine Magnetschienbremse eingebaut werden konnte. Die Beiwagen behielten neben der Solenoid- auch die Druckluftbremse bis zum Schluss, weil die Fahrmotoren der dazugehörenden Triebwagen des Typs 29 nicht im Regelbetrieb für die Widerstandsbremse genutzt werden konnten. Da diese Triebwagen wegen der empfindlichen Fahmotoren und rissanfälligen Drehgestellrahmen nie vollständig befriedigten, liefen die Niederflurbeiwagen oft und bis zur Ausmusterung hinter Pullmantriebwagen des Typs 22, allerdings erst nach dem Einbau leistungsfähigerer Fahrmotoren. Die OS-Anlage wurde 1988, erst einige Jahre nach der Aufarbeitung für das Museum, wieder entfernt. Die relativ starre Leitungsverbindung oberhalb der Druckluftleitung ist die Verbindung der Solenoidbremse, die dünne Leitung ganz oben die einpolige, mit Fahrdrahtspannung gespeiste Lichtleitung.Die Einstiegstüren sind nur halboch, darüber liegen Faltfenster, die im Winter auf der Nichteinstiegsseite geschlossen wurden. Die Leipziger Mitteleinstiegwagen wurden nie zu Einrichtungswagen umgebaut. |
