Deutsch: Línea San Martín, die Strecke hat im Vorortverkehr von Buenos Aires eine gewisse Sonderrolle. Sie hat keine elektrifizierten Abschnitte und Abzweigungen, dafür ist sie mit 70 Kilometern relativ lang. Diese Strecke war als erste auf hohe Bahnsteige mit stufenfreien Einstiegen umgstellt. Speziell für diese Strecke wurden bei CSR in China 24 Diesellokomotiven der Reihe SDD7 und 160 kurzgekuppelte Wagen beschafft, allerdings sind es keine Wendezüge. Die Lokomotiven werden an den Endpunkten umgesetzt, dafür sind sie mit vom Führerstand aus lösbaren Scharfenbergkupplungen ausgerüstet. Mit Wendezügen konnte man sich offenbar nicht anfreunden. Inzwischen (2022) ist doch die Elektrifizierung der Strecke mit 25 kV und 50 Hz sowie die Beschaffung von Triebzügen vorgesehen. Der Zug kommt von Doctor Cabred und fährt nach Villa del Parque, die Endstrecke Retiro–Villa del Parque ist im Sommer erneut für die kreuzungsfreie Hochlegung im Stadtgebiet von Buenos Aires außer Betrieb. |
