| Description |
Deutsch: Die Einheiten der Reihe 484 sind durchgehend begehbare Halbzüge. Wegen der für einen stufenlosen Einstieg auf 1000 mm über SO abgesenkten Wagenbodenhöhe, der notwendigen Festigkeit der Halbzugenden und der Kupplungshöhe liegt der Führerstandsboden deutlich höher als der im Rest der Einheit. Die Wagenlängen und die Laufwerksanordnung entsprechen den Vorgängerbaureihen, die Fahrmotoranordnung dagegen nicht. Die Achsfolge ist (1A)Bo’+Bo’(A1)+(1A)Bo’+Bo’(A1), die Endachsen der Viertelzugeinheiten sind Laufachsen. Die Stromabnehmer liegen ebenfalls weiterhin an den Viertel- bzw Halbzugenden. Bei einer Vierwageneinheit gibt es damit nur zwei Stromabnehmer pro Seite. Die kontrastfarbigen Türen sollen die Orientierung der Fahrgäste erleichtern, sie gerieten jedoch schon vor dem ersten Fahrgasteinsatz unter Kritik. |
