Deutsch: Das Kreuzungsbauwerk im Hintergrund war ursprünglich für zwei Gleise ausgelegt, allerdings reichte der mögliche Gleisabstand seit den 1950er Jahren nicht mehr für den zweigleisigen Betrieb. Bei der Elektrifizierung in der zweiten Hälfte der 1980er musste die Sohle unter dem Kreuzungsbauwerk abgesenkt werden, zur Stabilitätserhöhung der Widerlager wurden sie mit Ballastmauern verstärkt. Warum man beim Neubau um 2000 nicht Platz für den zweigleisigen Betrieb ließ, obwohl der zweite Zwangspunkt zwischen Thekla und Heiterblick, die Brücke der Teslastraße ebenfalls abgängig war und inzwischen auch erneuert wurde, wissen wohl auch die Planer nicht.
Das nach rechts abzweigende Gleis 5 zum Güterring Richtung Mockau bestand ebenfalls schon vorher, bis es 1946 abgebaut wurde. Mitte der 1980er wurde es wiedererrichtet. Im Vordergrund ist die Straßenüberführung Rostocker Straße zu sehen. |
