Description
Deutsch: Vom Wegübergang »sendero verde« am Nordkopf des Bahnhofs Cataratas Richtung »Hauptbahnhof«, die Strecke ist zwischen »estación central« und Cataratas zweigleisig. Offenbar gibt es mit der auffallend kleinen Lokomotive dieses kurzen Dreiwagenzuges technische Probleme, er steht zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt schon länger an dieser Stelle.
Die Gleisführung zeigt, dass das Brechen des Verkehrs in Cataratas beim Bau der Strecke nicht vorgesehen war. Die Weichenverbindung würde einen zweigleisigen Verkehr zwischen Hauptbahnhof und Cataratas ermöglichen, das weiterführende, im Bild linke Gleis direkte Fahrten von und nach Garganta del Diablo ohne Berührung des Bahnsteiges Cataratas. Genutzt wird die Umgehung zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt nicht.
