Description
Deutsch: Zwischen den genutzten Gleisen und dem Dienstgebäude ist ungewöhnlich viel Platz, zumal auch der Bahnsteigtunnel den gesamten Raum unterquerte. Anzunehmen ist, dass der Raum von Rand- und Güterzuggleisen eingenommen wurde, zumal hier die Strecke 6727 nach Kölleda begann. Der Bahnsteigtunnel ist auf dieser Seite beseitigt worden, als Ersatz ist eine Reisendenübergangssicherungsanlage im Bau. Der Tunnel lag nach der Schließung des Empfangsgebäudes allerdings auch besonders ungünstig, die Umsteigewege zu den Bushaltestellen sind jetzt deutlich günstiger und der Zugang auf der Stadtseite wurde damit barrierefrei.
