Description
Deutsch: Küste in Alicante unterhalb des Berges »Serra grossa« von der Avenida de Villajoyosa, im Hintergrund liegt Cabo de la Huerta. Unterhalb der Straße im Schatten verläuft die zur Stadtbahn Alicante gehörende Meterspurstrecke Alicante–Dénia. Der Abschnitt Sangueta–La Isleta ist der letzte im Stadtgebiet von Alicante, der im Regelbetrieb befahren wird und trotzdem eingleisig verblieben ist. Ein Tunnel zur Umgehung dieses Abscnittes wurde zwar angeschlagen, seine Fertigstellung ist als Folge der Finanzkrise von 2009 noch immer nicht absehbar. Der knapp zwei Kilometer lange eingleisige Abschnitt wirkt leistungsbegrenzend, eine notwendige Taktverdichtung ist damit nicht möglich.
