Description
Deutsch: Endwagen, Seitenansicht. Die Ähnlichkeit zu den Triebzügen der Reihe 449 ist unübersehbar, die Wagenaufteilung der Endwagen entspricht allerdings mit dem in Richtung Kurzkuppelende verschobenen Einstieg eher der Vorgängerbauart 598. Ein weiterer wesentlicher Unterschied zu den Wagen der Reihe 449 sind die Regeldrehgestelle. Die Einheiten der Reihe 449 laufen auf vier Jakobsdrehgestellen.
Bei dieser Reihe hat die Renfe auch die Endwagen fortlaufend nummeriert, die Ordnungsnummer des geradzahligen Endwagens entspricht dem Doppelten der Triebzugnummer. Der elegante weiße Außenanstrich ist verständlicherweise besonders verschmutzungsgefährdet, doch scheint auch die Renfe den erhöhten Reinigungsaufwand in Kauf zu nehmen.
