Description
Deutsch: Ob der Schleiftriebwagen nur wegen dem Lückenschluss bestellt wurde oder die Schienen hier im Connewitzer Raum unabhängig vom Bauablauf geschliffen werden, ist nicht zu erkennen.
Die LVB haben mit dem Wagen 5090IV, Typ 44IV, erst 1994 einen seinerzeit ausgesprochen modernen sechsachsigen Schleifwagen von LHB bekommen, die Beschaffung wurde zusammen mit der Hannoverander ÜSTRA ausgelöst. Es ist einigermaßen erstaunlich, dass er nur wenige Jahre später wieder durch zwei Eigenbauten ersetzt wurde. Möglicherweise ergaben sich durch die Wagenbreite von 2,40 m doch zu viele Begegnungsverbote.
