Description
Deutsch: Serienlokomotive für die VR auf Überführungsrollböcken. Während DB Cargo zwischen dem Herstellerwerk in München-Allach und den Ostseehäfen nur Straßentransport anbieten konnte, war die Firma Rail Adventure in der Lage, Überführungsrollböcke bereitzustellen, auf denen die Lokomotiven im Regelspurnetz nahezu vollständig ausgerüstet mit 60 km/h befördert werden können. Abgebaut sind nur Aufstiege und Rangiertritte.
Die Lokomotiven der bisherigen VR-Reihe Sr3 sind mit zwei zusätzlichen Hilfsdieselmotoren für Rangierfahrten in fahrleitungslosen Gleisen und einer Funkfernsteuerung ausgerüstet. Das UIC-Raster ist leer, wegen der unterschiedlichen Anforderungen nach TSI und GOST wird das auch so bleiben. Ein technisch durchaus möglicher Durchlauf in das GUS-Netz ist derzeit nicht vorgesehen, allerdings sind die angrenzenden Strecken in Russland auch mit 3 kV elektrifiziert. Ein auf den zweiten Blick sichtbarer Unterschied zu den übrigen Vectron-Lokomotiven ist die Lage der UIC-Kupplungsdosen. Wegen der in Finnland üblichen Lage außerhalb des Wagenüberganges liegen sie neben den Kupplungen für die Zugsammelschiene. Die originalen Einbaustellen sind wegen des Baukastensystems blindgeschlossen.
