Description
Deutsch: Die Straße ist gleichzeitig das Flussbett des El Riberal, das jedoch nur zur Schneeschmelze in den Pyrenäen und nach starken Niederschlägen Wasser führt. Unter der Brücke im Hintergrund biegt es nach rechts zum Strand von Cerbère ab. Die Mauern auf Höhe der Bordkanten und die Höhe der Fußwege sind Hochwasserschutz, deswegen sind die Öffnungen auch wasserdicht verschließbar. Wer allerdings seinen Pkw bei Hochwasserwarnung nicht entfernt, muss nicht auf Schadenersatz hoffen. Die Bogenreihen im Hintergrund links wurden errichtet, um den Platz für den Bahnhof zu vergrößern.
