Description
Polski: Józef Ratajczak (1897-1942) – komendant Okręgu Pomorskiego ZWZ z siedzibą w Toruniu (ps. „Karolczak”, „Krauze”). Zamordowany przez Niemców w Lesie Sękocińskim k. Magdalenki (27/28 maja 1942).
English: Józef Ratajczak (1897-1942) – during the period of German occupation of Poland he was a member of the underground Union of Armed Struggle (Związek Walki Zbrojnej – ZWZ). He served as a chief of Pomeranian District of ZWZ (with HQ in Toruń). His pseudonyms was “Katolczak” and “Krauze”. He was executed by Nazi-German occupants in Magdalenka near Warsaw (27/28 May 1942).
