Eşrefzade mosque in Iznik

| Description |
English: There are panels of fine tiles all around. Many reflected so much that I could not take their pictures, the ones I show have all been perspective-corrected. The mosque is named as Eşrefzade on a notice, but a grave for the namesake speaks of Eşrefoğlu. He founded the Eşrefiye branch of the Kadiri dervishes, and is buried next to the mosque. |
