Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Ivy-clad wartime relic. Here the path leads past an overgrown pillbox dating from WWII which is not recorded in the Defence of Britain database. The structure is so overgrown that it can hardly be recognised for what it is. The buildings seen in the distance across the field belong to the Seal and Bird Rescue Trust > 1035988. This public footpath starts diagonally across from the junction of the Coast Road with Ostend Road. It leads past a house > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1035907 and past a blue shed belonging to it > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1035910 - https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1035911 following a drain traversing fields, all the way to Mill Common Road further to the west > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1035955.
