[edit]DescriptionItalie, Florence, Duomo ou Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, 1296-1436 (50131101047).jpg | Santa Maria del Fiore (Sainte Marie de la Fleur) est la cinquième église d'Europe par sa taille, après la basilique Saint-Pierre de Rome, la cathédrale Saint-Paul de Londres, la cathédrale de Séville et le dôme de Milan. "Sainte Marie de la Fleur" est baptisée ainsi en rapport au Lys de Florence. Elle mesure 153 mètres de long et la base de la coupole mesure 41,98 mètres de large, avec un plan basilical. Le Duomo a une coupole en terre cuite conçue par Brunelleschi et un campanile conçu par Giotto. |
