Description
English: Mussolini declared the Republic of Salo under German "protection" after democratic Italians revolted against his rule.This naval recruitment poster imitates the "Lord Kitchener Wants You" one. Gino Boccasile (died 1952) was a commercial artists whose two loves were "cheesecake" and fascism, and he designed propaganda for Mussolini until 1945.
