Description |
English: Princess Loisa Carlotta (1804-1844) was the daughter of Francis I, the Bourbon king who ruled the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies (kingdoms of Naples and Sicily) from 1825-1830. She wears on her right shoulder the Austrian Order of the Starry Cross.
This miniature that was designed to show both the beauty of her face and her shoulders was probably painted in 1819 when she married her uncle, Infante Francisco de Paula of Spain. |
