Summary

[edit]
Description

A lone bench facing northwards across the Ottawa River into Quebec.

Benches are often placed along the edge of the Ottawa River, providing an ideal resting place for those in need of a pause, or simply those wishing to sit and reflect. While benches are frequent, other amenities that increase walkability and active living (in the urban environment) are less frequent, for example, shade trees, waste containers, water fountains, and safety lighting.
