English: So this then is the road outside the path leading to the Saiyok Noi waterfall near Kanchanaburi, Thailand. I am here in Kanchanaburi Thailand on a day tour from Bangkok to check out the bridge on the river Kwai and to learn about the horrors pertaining to the construction of the infamous Death Railway between Thailand and Burma, which led to over a hundred thousand deaths. Our guide brought us here to the Saiyok Noi waterfalls, a little away from Kanchanaburi, for the afternoon. The trip is practically over now, and while waiting at the entrance to the falls for the rest of our guide to arrive, I took this long shot of a maxi songthaew (pick up truck with seats at the back) and a motorbike mounted ice cream vendor. The ice cream vendor came around to this side of the freeway when he spotted me and other members of our group who are beginning to appear. I had a delicious ice cream from this vendor. Sorry I could not get a better shot as people began to crowd around him and our guide started rushing us into our vehicle. I would have normally taken a human interest shot along with the people, but this was my first solo trip after a rather traumatic breakup, and I was just learning the ropes of solo travel, so I wasn't quite there yet!.
