Summary

[edit]
Description
English: It is part of the külliye (complex) built in 1659-60 for two members of the Köprülü family, Mehmet Paşa and his son Fazıl Ahmet Paşa (nicknamed respectively The Cruel and The Statist). The complex spread along the Divan Yolu, what now is the mosque formerly was the dershane or lecture-room of the medrese, most of which has now disappeared.
